Hello CyberStangers
After most everyone giving up on this site, I thought I'd blog out my past few months in short form. I will work my way backwards until my memory fails. (Which considering how much drinking I have been doing its a wonder I can remember what I did last night-jk Dad.)
Since mid-August I have been working in the Leaching Plant at Teck Cominco.I have been living in Rossland and as such I am a mere 5 minute drive from the ski hill. Embarassingly enough yesterday was my first ski day. I went out with the old man and did some sweet turns on the telemark skis at Red Mountain. Beautiful day, blue skies and 1/2 a foot of untouched powder.
End of November I took a week off and went to Mexico with Jon Boy. We stayed at an all-inclusive resort in Nuevo Vallarta, Occidental Allegro . It was beautiful, hot and relaxing. We did a manage a couple days of surfing up in Sayulita and caught some sweet waves.
Prior to that during the months of August, September and October I got out and did some hiking and camping. I got out onto Slocan Lake, Jumbo Pass, Valhallas, and numberous little hikes in Kokanee Glacier Park and the Nancy Green summit area. During the fall I also was biking like crazy on the extensive trail network up in Rossland. There is some steep downhill which really pushed my skill level up, fast. You either rode the hill or got left behind eating dust.
So, into the present time I have 8 more days of work and then I will be returning to UVic for the FINAL semester of school. About a month ago I was offered full time work once I graduated with Teck. After some serious humming and hawing I accepted the position and will be starting in August or September of next year.
One side note for anyone who knows my little brother Cammy; Cam and Breanne McLellan are now engaged and will be married in August :)
And that is life in a nutshell, I'd best be starting the Xmas shopping.

Enjoyed looking through your archives. I was just told about your site. The family communication leaves something to be desired.
