Food for Thought
I figured during this exam period I would not only study but prepare for exams by feeding my brain. I have heard that flax and fish have omega fatty acids that will help my brain "learn". So I started my diet of canned tuna and flax seeds. However, after talking to Jon today, I was told that there is a lot of mercury in canned tuna... I am not sure but I doubt mercury is helpful in learning.
I quickly switched off my fad diet into a more balanced diet. Procrastinating allows me to do all the things I never have time to do, ie) cook, and clean. In the spirit of this I cleaned the bathroom, (sort of), and made a wonderful pot of chili. In the process I have somehow managed to get jalapeno pepper juice up my nose, (I am assuming this is from the chili not the bathroom). Either way, it burns...
For anyone interested the following table of food does and don'ts was found here. It is a site full of brain foods and tips. Dad take note there is a section near the bottom labelled NUTRITIP: Feeding Senior Brains.

The one thing that does confuse me with the table is I see that brewer's yeast is on the brain builders, but the alchol is on the brain drainers. I went out on Friday and drank about 4-beer, now where do I stand??

This is very informative, Jen. Has everything I want, except chocolate. They must have left chocolate out of the left column by mistake.

Thank you Jennifer for the tip regarding feeding senior brains. I am glad you now at least admit that this doddering old senior has a brain. However, I am smart enough not to injest jalapeno peppers through my nose.
