Revenge of Sooke
Once again I thought that I would like to go for a bike ride to the Sooke Potholes, half way there I realized I was horribly wrong. This time I had a different accomplice... Ms. Viv Crowe. We rode the 45-some kilometers along the Goose with our legs aching only to stumble across the Sooke Potholes GRAND OPENING. 
The festivities were in full swing as the salmon was smoking over a fire pit, homemade ice cream was being dished out 
and pieces of cheap Safeway slab cake were distributed to the friendly crowd.
All of this was great, although nothing could hide the fact that we still had a 45 kilometer return trip to Victoria. The trip back was not as bad as last years trip, however, it was still a grind.
