If you are squeamish...
This posting is because in the past few months a couple people asked about my dislocated finger... The story is from 3 years ago while I was still at BCIT. I was riding my bike back from dropping my car off at the repair shop.
Story goes, I was riding up a hill on my road bike, the chain sucked up and jammed. My momentum carried me over the handlebar so I could land squarely on my right hand. I lifted my arm up and saw my fingers daggling down looking rather lifeless. With my gloves on I wasn't sure if they were still attached to my hand... I was a bit scared.
Long and short; I caught a ride to the hospital, and was told I had two fingers dislocated in three joints. I was then fed copious amounts of morphin and pain killers, had my hand pulled back into its "correct" alignments and went home.
Here is the infamous hand x-ray prior to the fingers being pulled back into its proper location... Note this isn't for those with weak stomachs :)
